Competition Rules

• Entry Fee A$20

  Please direct deposit to account. Please put name in reference field and email Alise (alise.croft@optusnet.com.au ) when payment made.

  Note: Submitting an entry commits you to the competition and payment will be expected, so please pay as soon as you can. Failure to pay by commencement of tournament may see you kicked out.

• Prize pool distribution will be announced once entries close.

• Initial Tips must be submitted by 5.00am AEST Saturday 15 June. Please click Enter Tips on the Navigation Bar to bring up the Tipping Form.

  Bonus Points: Fill in the bonus point section by selecting a team for each of the following categories using the drop-down menus:

  • Super Striker
  • Super Assister
  • Super Goalie
  • Offensive team
  • Defensive team
  • Fair Play team
  • Unfair Play team

  Note: You can have the same team in more than one category if you wish.

  Note: If any selected Super Striker/Assister or Goalie is withdrawn due to Injury before the start of the competition, you will be allowed to change your picks.

  Group Stage: For the first 36 games select which team will win or select a draw.

  Group Winners and Runners-up: Using the dropdown boxes, first select the winner of the group and then the runner-up, for all six groups.

  3rd Place Teams: You must select the 4 teams you think will be the best 3rd place finishers in the group stage. You must then click the Submit Choices button before proceeding to the next step.

  Click here to read all the rules regarding how the 3rd Place Finishers are determined and how the following round of 16 matches are allocated.

  Knockout Stage:

  • Step 1: The Group Winner and Group Runner-up for the 6 Groups and the 3rd place finishers will have automatically been pre filled when you submitted your choices in the Group Placings Section. If there are any Rnd of 16 Teams missing please go back and resubmit your choices.

    If you have changed your mind, please go back to the Group Placings Section and resubmit your choices before continuing.

  • Step 2: Select your 8 Quarter-finalists using the drop-down menus
  • Step 3: Select your 4 Semi-finalists using the drop-down menus
  • Step 4: Select your 2 Finalists using the drop-down menus
  • Step 5: Select your Euro 2024 Winner using the drop-down menu

  Click the Submit Tips button at the bottom of the form. You will be prompted if you've missed a tip or have picked the same teams to finish 1st and 2nd in the group.

  Once you submit your form, you will also receive an email that will list your tips for each game. Please keep as a record so you know who you've tipped!

• Tipping Forms will become available for each Knockout Round as soon as possible following the conclusion of the previous round. You will also need to tip the result for extra bonus points.

• Note: Failure to tip any games or round of games will not disqualify you, it will just reduce your chance of winning!

• Points Awarded

  Points will be awarded on the following basis:
  1. On the initial tips entered prior to tournament start:
     • Two (2) points for each correct selection in the Group Stage (max. 72 points)
     • Four (4) points for each correctly selected Round of 16 (max. 64 points)
     • Five (8) points for each correctly selected Quarter Finalist (max. 64 points)
     • Ten (10) points for each correctly selected Semi Finalist (max. 40 points)
     • Fifteen (15) points for each correctly selected Finalist (max. 30 points)
     • Twenty-five (25) points if you pick the most games correctly out of all the Tipsters
       This includes all games in group and knockout stages (max. 25 points)
     • Twenty-five (25) points for correctly selecting the Winning Nation (max. 25 points)
     • Maximum Point Score of 296
  2. Bonus Points will be awarded on the following basis:
     • Two (+2) points added for each goal scored by your Attacking Team
     • Two (-2) points deducted for each goal scored against your Defensive Team
     • Two (-2) points deducted for each yellow card given to your FairPlay Team
     • Five (-5) points deducted for each penalty given against your FairPlay Team
     • Ten (-10) points deducted for each red card given to your FairPlay Team
     • Two (+2) points added for each yellow card given to your UnfairPlay Team
     • Five (+5) points added for each penalty given against your UnfairPlay Team
     • Ten (+10) points added for each red card given to your UnfairPlay Team
     • Five (+5) points awarded for each goal scored by your Super striker (No points awarded for goals scored in penalty shootouts)
     • Five (+5) points awarded for each penalty saved by your Super goalie in open play
       No points awarded for penalties saved in penalty shootouts
     • Five (+5) points awarded for each goal assist by your Super Assister
  3. Knock-out round tips:
     • Two (2) points for tipping the winner for each game plus five (5) bonus points for tipping the correct score (which is the score at end of regulation time and prior to any penalty shootout)
     • Maximum Point Score of 105
     • Ten (10) points for each penalty shootout that your Penalty Shootout Team wins.

• The judges' reserve the right to make any changes to the rules at any time and their decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
